EMRApproved.com Launches New and Expanded Content

EMRapproved.com may be a newbie in the health information technology industry but they're making big news.   In March of 2011 they announced they will be launching the expanded content of their site with new online features.  This expansion could make it possibly the most comprehensive online EMR resource in the industry.

One of the new features will include a directory of certified EMR consultants list.  This has yet to go live, but keep coming back for the latest updates.  The site also has a team of Certified Medical Record and IT specialists called the Project Guidance Team.  EMR support is available at a toll free number to help select the best software, hardware and devices to meet the practice's needs.

The other new feature already launched is the EMR/EHR shopping wizard.  The wizard is an interactive tool to select and compare software and services according to site and location size and practice specialty.  It also allows shoppers to compare products based on EMR features, practice management features, certifying body, certification period and certification status.

As the newly most comprehensive EMR resource site, EMRapproved.com also features a directory for medical apps made for Apple and Android such as dictionaries, drug guides and electronic consultations.  Education is also offered for practices, doctors and patients alike.  Detailed information is provided for practices looking to register for the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Program and the HITECH reimbursement.  For doctors and patients, the Ask EMR Pro interactive forum is available to comment and submit their own questions about electronic medical records, electronic health records and personal health records.
